This career step requires limited level experience. Responsible for cyber security areas across products, services, infrastructure, networks, and/or applications while providing protection for ATT, our customers and our vendors/partners. Works with senior team members on various projects relating to the protection of devices, customers, assets, data, information technology, and networks. Supports innovation, strategic planning, technical proof of concepts, testing, lab work, and various other technical program management related tasks associated with the cyber security programs.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Researching, recommending, documenting, and coordinating implementation of changes to policies, procedures, facilities, and systems to enhance security as well as developing and delivering corporate security awareness training for users and technical security training for system administrators.
- Facilitates compliance with company security policies, practices and legal requirements.
- May provide support to non-management employees, including coaching, on-the-job and formal training, reference materials, procedures and system documentation.
- Provides information to management regarding the negative impact on the business caused by theft, destruction, alteration or denial of access to information.
- Interface with other stakeholders including vendors, application development and technical support staff, and clients.
- Provide inventory and asset management resources to security operation, including administrative supplies, security specific resources such as cryptographic key management, and specialized security software.
Qualifications:
- Associates of Science degree in the field of Computers, Engineering, or Mathematics preferred.
- Requires 1 - 2 years of related experience
- Internet Protocol V4
- TCP ports and services
- JSON
- Linux command line
- Any scripting language a plus
- Experience in information security basics, data analysis, and database usage.
- Must be able to create scripts to complete analysis tasks
- Additionally, the candidate will have excellent communication skill
- Create reports that summarize steps taken, findings, and conclusions

Our Specialist Cybersecurity earns between $85,700.00-$128,500.00 USD Annual not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
