Job Description:

Our AT&T Business International organization is responsible for end to end business for our customer with locations outside of the United States. In this busy and demanding area there is a never ending need to innovate and seek for tooling, process and cost saving opportunities while delivering best in class service to our customers.

Job Overview:

We are hiring a ServiceNow Developer with a background in cross-platform software engineering and experience with delivering projects. This opportunity will support the transformation of our industry standard order and delivery management system.  The position requires close collaboration with requestors mainly based outside of US (primarily in Slovakia), peer developers mainly based in Slovakia and Global ServiceNow platform team.

To be successful in this role you have an active background in designing, developing, and implementing solutions in the ServiceNow platform. You will have experience in all aspects of the software development lifecycle and are expected to have good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.  If successful, you will become part of a small, fenced team responsible for process, data and software development focused on AT&T’s business in International (non-US) space.

You will need a good understanding of software methodologies and the ability to balance technical expertise and business acumen.  Ideally you may have had previous experience in a rapid-growth start-up enterprise. Alternatively, you have likely worked within an international environment and possess the entrepreneurial mindset to build and successfully contribute to team of software engineers.  

We expect you to be independent, self-driven professional, who can on 1 end help junior team members to be successful as well as be able to suggest solutions to the desired features that are to be built in ServiceNow. Being part of a smaller team working on a specific application will provide you with opportunity to not only interact with the requestors, but also influence the thought process and overall solution.  

Core Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow platform. 
  • Build and maintain applications, modules, and workflows within ServiceNow platform. 
  • Actively support configuration management of code and software. 
  • Develop and manage integrations between ServiceNow and other systems, applications, and databases, using web services, REST, SOAP APIs. 
  • Support detailed documentation of systems and features. 
  • Conduct unit, system, and integration testing to ensure quality and stability of created solutions.  
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues and defects as they arise. 
  • Actively participate in coding exercises and peer code reviews as part of the development life cycles and change management. 
  • Actively participate in daily stand-up meetings. 

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Ideally 3+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer with strong understanding of ServiceNow platform. 
  • Extensive experience with ServiceNow scripting languages (JavaScript, Glide API) and development tools.  
  • Proficient in web development technologies HTML, CSS, XML, AngularJS, and RESTful APIs. 
  • Experience in MySql, Python, PHP is advantage 
  • Good understanding of IT service management processes and best practices 
  • Strong problem-solving skills, excellent troubleshooting skills, and being open-minded and passionate about solving problems vs. using one specific solution in all situations 
  • Experience with fast growing AI area, use of AI agents or similar.

Education qualifications:

Bachelor level degree or equivalent in Computer Science, or related field of study.

Compensation:

Salary starting from 2 900EUR gross monthly.

The actual offered salary may be considerably higher based on your skills, knowledge, and experience.

Location:

This is a hybrid worker position where our preference is for you to be present with your team in the Bratislava Aupark office 2-3 times per week.
