About the Job:

This career step requires mastery level experience. This position will be supporting our Chief Security Office by driving Zero Trust Principals in architecting next generation Identity and Access Management solutions. The ideal candidate will create architecture for our large-distributed Identity system including Access Management and Identity Lifecycle Management. Architecture designs will include system level designs as well as assisting engineering teams with architecture questions or general technical guidance. This individual will be responsible for documenting their designs and providing detailed descriptions to the scrum teams on the proper technology to use for implementing those designs.  The role will also require understanding of emerging technologies including identity SaaS offerings and cloud-based tools. The candidate will have knowledge of the best-in-class COTs products such as CyberArk, Sailpoint, and Delinea.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving our future roadmap and technology evolution.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain architecture roadmap for Identity Access Management technology evolution

  • Provide subject matter expertise to engineering teams both internal and external to our organization on IAM practices and standards

  • Maintain future focus and understand emerging security trends, with a focus on impact to access management

  • Mentor junior architects and engineers providing guidance on architecture standards and solutions

  • Create best-in-class secure solutions for identity access management, developing high level architecture designs and working with the engineering teams on implementation

Qualifications:

  • Experience with IAM platforms and COTS products such as Okta, Ping, EntraID, Microsoft AD, and/or IBM ISVA.

  • Understanding of cloud

  • IAM Industry Standard Protocols (OIDC, oAUTH, SAML)

  • Perimeter security controls – firewall, IDS/IPS, network access control and network segmentation

  • Security concepts related to DNS, routing, VPN, proxy services and DDOS mitigation technologies.

  • Knowledge of Cryptographic Algorithms (symmetric/asymmetric encryption, hashing algorithms)

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience with architecting large distributed systems

  • Minimum 8 years programming and development experience as an individual contributor

  • Minimum 8 years of Identity and Access Management experience

  • Excellent verbal and writing skills

  • Experience with presenting to executives

Desired Skills:

  • CISSP Certification or equivalent certification

  • Azure Cloud Certifications

  • Experience with Ping, Okta, and/or ISVA

  • Experience with CyberArk, Sailpoint, and/or Delinea

Job Contribution:

  • Acknowledged technical authority and internal thought leader on ATT technologies.

Education:

  • Preferred Masters degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or Cyber Security.

Experience:

  • Typically requires 10+ years experience. Technical Career Pathway (TCP) role.

Our Expert Cybersecurity, earns between $174,100.00-$261,100.00 USD Annual, Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
