Job Description:
Join our team if you want to be at the forefront of driving organic social media innovation, crafting compelling brand narratives and meaningful connections with AT&T’s audiences. This role will oversee the management of AT&T’s organic social media handles, strategize and execute influencer and creator relationships and drive engagement across multiple platforms. You will lead a team responsible for crafting innovative content, nurturing online communities and establishing impactful collaborations with other internal AT&T intent creators (Marketing, Advertising, PR, eCommerce) as well as external influencers and creators. Responsibilities:
· Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive organic social media strategies aligned with the brand’s objectives to increase engagement, drive brand awareness and improve AT&T’s word of mouth/talk value.
· Content Creation and Curation: Oversee the creation, curation and scheduling of engaging, high-quality content across various social media platforms (IG, FB, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn) ensuring consistency in brand voice and messaging.
· Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of social media specialists, content creators and community managers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, psychological safety and excellence.
· Initiatives: Develop and lead the executive LinkedIn communication strategy and an Employee-generated social media program.
· Influencer & Creator Relationships: Establish a core team of affinity creators, conceptualizing and executing compelling campaigns and partners that align with brand values and resonate with our target audiences.
· Performance Analysis: Regularly analyze social media performance metrics, generate insights and adjust strategies accordingly to optimize engagement, reach and conversion rates.
· Community Engagement: Cultivate and nurture a vibrant online community by actively engaging with followers, addressing queries, partnering with Customer Care for servicing issues and leveraging user-generated content to strengthen brand loyalty and interest.
· Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Marketing, PR, Advertising, External Affairs and eCommerce to ensure alignment of social media initiatives with broader business and brand objectives.
· Stay Up-to-Date: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging platforms, and social media best practices to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
· Proven experience in social media management, in a leadership role within a large brand.
· Strong understanding of social media platforms, analytics tools, and content management systems.
· Demonstrated success in developing and executing influencer marketing & creator campaigns.
· Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Analytical mindset with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
