Job Description:
We are hiring for a visionary and strategic leader for the role of Assistant Vice President of Market Development focused on Franchise. This position is integral to shaping the strategic direction and leading AT&T’s innovative approach to win in franchise. The AVP will serve as a dedicated strategic resource, focusing on expanding AT&T’s market share and capitalizing on franchise growth opportunities. This leader will be responsible for setting the foundation ensuring there is a customer-centric plan and driving the success of how AT&T operates and wins in the franchise space.
The role entails comprehensive oversight of business performance monitoring, market trend analysis, market sizing, customer preference insights, and competitive landscape evaluation to formulate a robust franchise acquisition strategy. This role will be responsible for channel pursuit strategies, customer acquisition plays, develop products and processes, and utilize data analytics to optimize location targeting. Collaboration across sales segments, coordination with the CFO, product teams, and partner commercialization teams will be essential to ensure seamless execution and alignment. Responsibilities:
Strategic Development and Customer Acquisition:
- Create and communicate strategies for targeting new market areas with franchise businesses spanning multiple sales segments.
- Employ a combination of direct, indirect, and digital acquisition models to maximize market penetration and growth in the franchise space.
Market Analysis and Forecasting:
- Conduct market sizing, opportunity forecasting, and competitor analysis to understand the total addressable market and fair share opportunity.
- Leverage these insights to guide executive leadership on strategic direction, capital investments, geo-location-based targeting, and franchise prioritization.
Data Analytics & Segmentation:
- Deliver a comprehensive view franchise locations, integrating external franchise data with internal reporting systems.
- Ensure segmentation and account distribution clarity and precision, update franchise hierarchy in internal systems, and provide strategic recommendations across segments to safeguard sales acquisition efforts
Product and Process Deployment:
- Assess and refine product offerings, customer tools, and processes to meet the specific needs of franchise businesses.
- Oversee and provide recommendations on capital investments and strategic partnerships to enhance capabilities in AT&T internal systems and digital platforms
- Project manage end-to-end processes and oversee deployment, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Product Development Evaluation:
- Assess and refine product bundles and groupings tailored for franchise businesses.
- Make strategic recommendations and oversee end-to-end processes for capital investments to enhance product “bundles.”
System and Process Development:
- Evaluate and improve customer tools and processes for self-management and digital buy readiness.
- Lead initiatives to build capabilities and direct capital investments to improve AT&T systems and digital platforms.
- Oversee the deployment of system and process improvements to meet business needs and enhance customer experience.
Results Reporting:
- Provide regular reports and insights to leadership on the success of targeting initiatives, including sales results and program efficiency.
- Continuously iterate and adapt using data-driven analysis.
