JOB TITLE: Principal Engineer- Quality Assurance

JOB LOCATION: 208 S. Akard St., Dallas TX 75202 [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home]

DUTIES: Principal Engineer- Quality Assurance needed by AT&T Services Inc. in Dallas TX [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home] to responsible for implementing quality assurance programs. Provide testing management for ongoing projects and future initiatives. Deliver effective and efficient testing solutions by meeting key project milestones and overall project deliverables on time and adhering to development and quality standards. Interact with multiple teams for integration testing and for test data needs. Develop test plans covering functional, integration, regression, performance and UAT aspects. Design and develop test automation scripts using Java and Rest Assured. Create test suites, configure and orchestrate test environments and infrastructure and perform test execution. Prepare test scenarios, test cases, QA stories and acceptance criteria, aligning them with the development stories for the product increment being delivered in the sprint. Work closely with testing team members, execute test plans, document defects and coordinate with development for resolution. Document and track test outcomes and progress against targeted plans. Work with different technical teams such as Development, Operations and Architecture to discuss test results both functional and performance and troubleshoot issues. Represent the Testing Team in meetings with Business Owners, Tech Managers, and other stakeholders. Analyze test results, categorization of defects and assessment of overall product quality, functional and non-functional. Document and track test artifacts in appropriate applications. Monitor production environments and triage with the help of monitoring tools like Kibana, Dynatrace and Grafana. Utilize Java, Rest Assured, TestNG, and Selenium. Utilize Charles Proxy, Fiddler, and POSTMAN. Utilize Agile and Waterfall, ETL and Data migration testing.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, or 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation utilizing Java, Rest Assured, TestNG, and Selenium; utilizing Charles Proxy, Fiddler, and POSTMAN; and utilizing Agile and Waterfall, ETL and Data migration testing.
