The Principal Quality Assurance Engineer is Responsible for the performance of any/all functions involved in the quality assurance and test execution for new and existing applications and interfaces.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Using testing techniques, design, develop, analyze test plans and strategies, write and execute test cases, and troubleshoot defects for applications.
- Determine integrated testing solutions that include cross dependencies between organizations and programs, develop data and environment strategies utilizing architectural skills and methodology to meet performance, usability, scalability, reliability and security needs.
- Responsibilities may include E2E testing which encompasses the entire customer experience including sales, ordering, provisioning, activation, billing, payment processing, and customer service. E2E testing also requires extensive knowledge of the Network for integrated IT / Network tests to ensure services function, are properly billed, and issues can be resolved/managed.
- Review requirements and writing, updating test cases, troubleshooting defects and analyzing test results.
- Execute test cases, logging defects, triaging defects and testing in multiple browsers and mobile devices.
- Focus on 80% Automation , leading team to optimize testing efforts.
- Adopt AI driven tools to increase productivity.
- Collaborate with Integrated Testing Team, Release managers and development teams.
- Reporting status to Project Team and leadership.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of overall combined automation and functional testing experience ( or it can be pure automation testing experience).
- 8+ years of experience with various test methods & corresponding tools like Selenium, Katalon, Cucumber, Appium for iOS and Android.
- 8+ years of experience in working in building automation testbed for Front-end and back-end applications (experience in e-commerce application is highly desirable)
- 6+ years of experience in performing Integration testing, Regression testing, Database testing, System testing, Data verification testing
- 6+ years of experience working in DevOps Agile methodology
- 6+ experience in preparing Test strategy, Test plan, Test scenarios, Test cases and Test scripts based on User requirements and System Requirements
- 6+ Experience in using the Test Management Tool (JIRA, Zephyr, Test Complete, Rational) during entire Testing Phase.
- 4+ years of experience in working with Python, POSTMAN, SQL and other NO SQL query languages, Selenium / Cucumber, ETL, etc.
- Can lead the team as well as work independently as a self-driving person.
- Excellent communications Skills.
- Expert level technical professional.
Education:
Preferred Bachelors of Science in Information Systems Technology, Computer Science or Engineering.
Supervisory: No.
Our Principal Quality Assurance, earns between $130,700.00-$196,100.00 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
