This career step performs this work for the most
complex technologies and clients. Sourcing aimed at supporting
ATTs transformation, adoption and rationalization of technologies
requiring extensive technical expertise in emerging industry
technology categories such as 3rd party/hybrid/on-premise cloud,
Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) SW, Radio
Access Networks, Next Gen Business Support Systems,
Automation, transformational SaaS and PaaS, disaggregated
network solutions, data warehouse and analytics, and direct chip
supplier relationships, while supporting deals valued over $50M,
one or more technical client organization and cross-functional
technical programs/projects to forward progress ATT technology.


Leads Technical Sourcing managers provide independent
leadership and works with client organizations to set strategy to
support business process and post contract sourcing operations
for multiple critical, complex, strategic, Enterprise-wide
products/supplier contracts and relationships with material spend
commit obligations.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

-Strategic planning and big thinking inclusive of technology development and
advancement incorporating the cloud, hardware, software, Xaas,
IoT, AI/ML, Automation, etc.

-Technological expertise and
adeptness close to our BU stakeholders to offer them appropriate
level of sourcing and cost analysis

-Support to ensure solutions conform to technology strategies including:

Effectively understand
the offering, costs of what we are buying, alternatives, and how
solution compares to our current solutions already used in
company and others in the industry; negotiate security controls in
the form of Supplier Information Security Requirements (SISR) to
ensure technology risks are mitigated and technology performs in
compliance with ASPR.

-Analyze software SKUs to ensure each
technology sourcing event contains a full solution and to ask
probing question about each SKU to ensure solutions are not
being over-proposed; Review architecture to determine if publiccloud hosted or private-cloud hosted to determine cloud terms to
include in contract.

-Understand and translate network
architectures, technology evolution and deployment models to
ensure cost elements and contractual terms align to business
value.

-Understand technology cost drivers to align pricing models
and forecasts with value realized by the business; Transform the
technical requirements into contractual obligations to hold
suppliers accountable for a successful implementation

-Fluent in OS, cores, containers, sockets, and network technologies like
OpenROADM, network disaggregation, Open RAN, Virtual RAN,
to appropriately negotiate relevant terms for asset management
and compliance.

-Business process & cost management and
governance to ensure single version of truth of spend & usage
data for enterprise use, optimization, compliance management,
automating where applicable. Risk management expertise
including problem solving, familiar with laws, intellectual property,
technical regulations regarding data and privacy to make
decisions and ensure BU stakeholders awareness.

-Change Leadership including ability to work seamlessly within and across
companies, cultures, functions, and geographies to drive change
and action. Best practices knowledge within and across industries
including an ability to translate those learnings into application for
ATT. Project Management skills to oversee multiple mid to large
projects that involve cross-functional teams.

completion of GCSC Capabilities and Training skills development.

Our Principal Technical Sourcing Management, earns between $130,700.00-$196,100.00 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
