JOB TITLE: Senior Quality Assurance

JOB LOCATION: 208 S. Akard Street, Dallas TX 75202 [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home]

DUTIES: Senior Quality Assurance needed by AT&T Services, Inc.  in Dallas TX [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home] to oversee quality assurance processes for all products. Work with staff to define the optimal solution for each issue that may arise and implement in-house quality procedures, standards and specifications. Provide regular direction, mentoring, and coaching to Quality Assurance (QA) team members. Use testing techniques, design, develop, analyze test plans and strategies. Write and execute test cases along with troubleshoot defects for applications. Develop automation strategies that enhance test execution, manual test coverage and regression testing. Determine integrated testing solutions which include cross dependencies between organizations and programs. Collaborate with program managers, developer leads, architects to identify test scenarios for large programs. Develop data and environment strategies utilizing architectural skills and methodology to meet performance, usability, scalability, reliability and security needs. Report defects and follow up on closure. Analyze test results, report test metrics, prepare and present test reports. Communicate progress proactively and regularly – using various tools and strategies including governance calls, stand-up calls, formal jeopardies, escalations, daily-weekly progress reports, and defect metrics collections. Coordinate with teams involving all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle and facilitate certification for production deployment. Lead and manage Quality Assurance (QA) resources. Understand multi-tier web application architecture and micro-service technologies. Work on database and write basic SQL and NoSQL queries. Write automation scripts using Java, TestNG, and Selenium. Wok on software development life cycle and test cycles including Unit, Regression, Functional, Systems, Performance and Volume, and User Acceptance. Utilize technical skills Selenium, TestNG, Java, Java Script, Pact, REST Assured, Postman, Jira, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Oracle, and Nosql.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Information Technology or Electronic Engineering and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, or 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation  leading and managing Quality Assurance (QA) resources; understanding multi-tier web application architecture and micro-service technologies; working on database and write basic SQL and NoSQL queries; writing automation scripts using Java, TestNG, and Selenium; working on software development life cycle and test cycles including Unit, Regression, Functional, Systems, Performance and Volume, and User Acceptance; utilizing technical skills Selenium, TestNG, Java, Java Script, Pact, REST Assured, Postman, Jira, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Oracle, and Nosql.
