As a Senior System Engineer with AT&T, you won't just imagine the future – you'll create it. We're looking for talented individuals who can translate business needs into technical solutions and define strategies to solve complex problems through the innovative application of information technology.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, document, and analyze the overall architecture of systems, including both hardware and software components.

• Determine integrated hardware and software architecture solutions that meet performance, usability, scalability, reliability, and security needs.

• Coordinate the design and integration of total systems, including subsystems.

• Research and recommend technologies to improve current systems.

• Support technical initiatives, typically as part of larger projects.

• Work on the development of new technologies or the maintenance of existing technologies.

• Exchange complex technical information and provide training and guidance to others by breaking down information in a systematic and logical manner.

Job Contribution:

• Assist with architecture design, project delivery, defect management, and security and compliance scope.

• Lead architecture decisions for new business requirements within the BSSe and Unified Billing platforms.

• Oversee SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) audit responsibilities, including interpreting audit requests, providing necessary evidence, and ensuring compliance with SOX and Chief Security Office requirements.

• Collaborate with vendor partners to address identified security vulnerabilities across platforms.

Required Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of related experience.

• Technical skills (Java, Couchbase, Kafka, Jenkins, Springboot)

Desired Qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.

• Experience in building multiple version systems addressing performance and scale.

• Experience developing technical documentation on applications and systems.

• Ability to work with both technical and business-oriented teams.

Our Senior System Engineering, earns between $116,700.00-$196,100.00 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
