FirstNet is a nationwide, high-speed wireless broadband network dedicated to public safety. Our mission is to ensure that first responders—such as police, firefighters, and emergency medical services—have priority access to reliable communication services during emergencies and daily operations to ultimately save lives and protect communities.
We are a newly established web development team comprised of passionate storytellers dedicated to delivering advanced data solutions in a user-friendly manner. Our mission is to support the FirstNet Authority (FNA) by providing insightful and actionable data to guide data-driven business decisions. We focus on monitoring network conditions, performance, and service-level agreements (SLAs) to ensure timely notifications of critical events. Our commitment to excellence drives us to create intuitive tools and reports that empower FNA to maintain optimal network operations and respond effectively to any impacting events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and Collaborate: Partner with business and product team members to develop advanced web-based solutions that empower our clients to make data-driven decisions.
- Power BI Expertise: Utilize Power BI to create interactive and visually compelling dashboards and reports that effectively communicate complex data insights to stakeholders.
- Data Integration & Analysis: Extract, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and reliability in reporting and analytics.
- Full-Stack Development: Develop and maintain both front-end and back-end components of web applications using Python, React, and REST APIs.
- API Integration: Develop and integrate REST APIs to enable seamless communication between front-end applications and back-end services.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in web development, data analytics, and Power BI to continuously enhance the tools and solutions provided.
Requirements:
- Experience in React, REST API, Python, Front-end development, Data analytics.
- Proficiency in Power BI.
- Exposure or willingness to learn Azure, and Azure Functions is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Experience:
- Requires 3+ years' experience with subject matter technical knowledge and sound understanding of web-based design, cloud infrastructure and deploying highly secure applications.
- You will make a significant impact if you are data-driven and possess an analytics background. Experience or enthusiasm for learning Python, React, REST APIs, Azure, and Azure Functions will be highly beneficial. Additionally, familiarity with Power BI will further enhance your effectiveness.
- You thrive in ambiguous situations, seamlessly navigating incomplete information with creativity and puzzle-solving prowess. Your humility, respect, and patience define your interactions, while your customer-driven mindset fuels your passion for making a difference. As a self-starter, you take ownership of your work, consistently prioritizing quality over quantity.
Our Senior Applications Developers (FirstNet), earn between $106,100.00 - $178,200.00 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
