Overview:
- Responsible for project managing all aspects of the development, labs implementation, testing, and budget management for assigned end-to-end solutions labs projects, and provides a single point of contact for those projects. The projects are typically high value and long term.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Leads and interfaces with cross-functional teams to establish budgets and schedules and complete projects within those constraints.
- Defines and captures project scope, requirements, tasks and dependencies, and takes technical projects from original concept through final implementation.
- Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, and resource plans
- Conducts project meetings and is responsible for monitoring project progress and analyzing status to prepare reports and identify risks, jeopardies, and corrective actions
- Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables
- Manages the integration of vendor task and tracks and review vendor deliverables.
- Tracks project budgets and issues POs as appropriate for 3rd party deliverables.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Has expanded technical knowledge in own discipline/specialty area. Applies broader knowledge of discipline/specialty area standards to work assignments. Sound understanding of Agile and Hybrid Frameworks. Deepens technical knowledge through exposure and continuous learning.
- Problem Solving, Identifies problems/issues. Solves non-routine problems by independently applying judgment to established analysis and standard approaches. Integrates/evaluates multiple factors to develop creative practical solutions.
- Independence, Guided by project and work deadlines; sets own priorities. Uses discretion to complete assignments; independently applies knowledge of technical practices and specialty area standards.
- Independently completes assignments; participates in diverse projects.
- Communications, Exchanges complex technical information written and verbal. Cultivates good peer working relationships.
Education/Certification:
- Preferred Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Administration degree or equivalent experience with 3-5 years experience.
- PMP Certification desired.
A Senior Project Manager earns between $105,600.00 - $158,400.00 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
